How do I book my session?

I have never done anything like this and I am not a model. What if I can't pose?

Many of our clients have never done this either. Our job is to help you and guide to pose in ways that flatter you and make you look and feel great. All you need to do is come in with a positive attitude and leave the rest to us.

What should I do to prepare? What should I wear?

We will discuss all these details extensively during your pre-shoot consultation. We recommend that you bring several different outfits so that we can have a choice of clothing for multiple themes and looks. Also, don't forget your favorite shoes, accessories, and jewelry. We also have a small selection of outfits that we can provide if needed and multiple fabrics and materials that we use creatively for some looks.

What about hair styling and makeup?

All our sessions include complimentary professional hair and makeup. Our talented hair & makeup artist will pamper you and make sure you look absolutely gorgeous for your shoot. Remember to plan a night out after your photoshoot because you will look and feel amazing.

Can I bring a friend to my shoot?

If it's just you doing the session, we suggest you come alone, but we would never stop you from bringing someone with you if you feel it’s more comfortable for you. We have found that sometimes, when other people are present and watching, it's harder for you to relax and connect with the photographer. We wouldn't want that to take away from giving you the most amazing photos possible.

Where will the photoshoot take place?

Our fully outfitted professional studio is adjacent to our home. That gives us the flexibility of using the studio for certain themes while also having access to multiple areas of the house. With hardwood floors and lots of windows for natural light, we can use the space in any way you are comfortable with. If you'd like to shoot at your home or at a location of your choice (hotel, castle, etc.), no problem for us. Additional charges may apply.

Our home is located on a picturesque land in Saint-Lazare, just west of Montreal. It is approximately 45-60 minutes from anywhere on the island of Montreal.

How long will the shoot last?

Generally, a shoot will last between 3 and 4 hours. However, our focus is on making your day unforgettable, so we take our time and work at your pace and take the time we need to make you happy. We also recommend that the shoot be during the day, starting mid to late morning, so we can take advantage of the beautiful natural light.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

No. What you purchase is entirely up to you. No hard sell and no obligation to buy anything. You buy what you love. Our job is to take photos of you that you will fall in love with and want to buy them all.

Do you offer digital photos only?

We do not sell digitals only (except for Personal Branding & Authentic Me photoshoots). However, we provide you with complimentary digital files of all the photos you purchase as prints or collections. We believe in this personalized experience and the tangible products we offer as they can be touched, held, and enjoyed in multiple ways.

What types of photoshoots do you offer?

We offer various Styled Portraiture photoshoots with a focus on Maternity, Personal Branding, Beauty and Glamour, and Boudoir. Please contact us here and we will be glad to discuss other types of photography and your specific needs with you.

Do you put the photos in an online gallery for us to select the ones we like?

No. The in-person photo reveal and ordering session (2-3 weeks after the photoshoot) is the only occasion to see your photos after the shoot. It is a quick and enjoyable part of the experience that is simply the "icing on the cake". Under certain circumstances and for clients that travel from out of town for their shoot, we may be able to do the reveal and ordering session by Zoom or Skype.

Will my photos be used on your website or on social media?

We will not use/post any photos without your written permission. Most of our clients love showing off their photos, some prefer to keep them completely private, and others somewhere in between. We would love to show your photos on our website so others can see what your experience was like. We respect your privacy. It is entirely up to you.

I have some "problem" areas. Do you retouch/Photoshop my photos?

We do our best to make you look amazing through proper lighting and posing. We only retouch as much as needed to enhance and perfect your photos. That includes some color correction, blemish removal, skin smoothing in some areas, and just a few tweaks to make the photos amazing. If you have any special retouching requests, we can certainly accommodate you, but there may be additional charges for major retouching.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), e-Transfers, and of course, cash.

What is your refund policy?

The session fee is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable, but will be credited for use within 6 months should you have to postpone your session. All sales made during the photo reveal and ordering session are final.
